Privacy & Professional Ethics

Your privacy is important. All genealogical and DNA-related information shared during a research project is treated as confidential and will not be shared with any third party without your permission.

As a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), I adhere to the APG Code of Ethics and Professional Practices. These professional standards promote honesty in genealogical research, protection of client information, and responsible treatment of historical records and DNA data.

Genetic genealogy research may reveal unexpected biological relationships or information that differs from known family history. Clients should be aware of this possibility when requesting DNA-related research.
